Great to see the first of three additional Airbus A321 freighters joining our network through our partnership with Qantas Freight.
Once all three are in service, they’ll increase our dedicated freighter capacity by 22%, with each flight able to carry up to 20,000 Australia Post and StarTrack parcels.
That matters as we head into our busiest period with cyber sales and Christmas. It gives our network greater resilience and helps us keep parcels moving quickly and reliably when demand is at its highest.
The new aircraft will also support a more efficient network and help reduce emissions, delivering a better outcome for our customers and our business.
Thanks to everyone across Australia Post, StarTrack and Qantas Freight who has helped make this happen. It’s a practical investment that strengthens our network for peak and for the future.
