Online shopping continues to grow across Victoria, with Victorians spending $20 billion online in 2025 and regional communities continuing to see strong eCommerce growth.
That’s why today was an important milestone as we broke ground on our new Gippsland Parcel Facility in Morwell, a multimillion-dollar investment in our regional network to keep pace with changing customer and business needs.
The new facility will be one of our larger regional hubs capable of processing up to 5,000 parcels a day and is reflective of our continued focus on supporting regional communities with a faster and more reliable service. It’s expected to open in late 2027 and will be the first built within the Gippsland Logistics and Manufacturing Precinct in Morwell. Thank you to Martin Cameron MP, Member for Morwell, Councillor Sharon Gibson, Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Rob Moffatt, Morwell City Ward, and Vaughan Constructions Director, Eric Law for joining us to mark this milestone, as well as the teams, partners and stakeholders helping bring this project to life.
