Customs declaration
Changes to the online customs declaration form (OCDF)
From 20 January 2027, changes to US customs requirements mean some parcels sent to the US will require a Zonos Declaration ID. Parcels sent without a valid Declaration ID where one is required may be delayed by customs or returned to sender.
Any online customs declaration forms (OCDF) created before 20 January 2027 will no longer be valid and cannot be accepted over the counter from that date.
For some eligible parcels, you may be asked to complete the Zonos Customs Compliance Form to obtain a unique Declaration ID and enter it in the ‘Enter a Zonos Declaration ID’ field in your OCDF. This step is optional until 20 January 2027 but using it now can help you prepare before the process becomes mandatory.
